SUSTAINABILITY

The MDS™ offers environmental benefits by design. First, the innovative pump system is made from 2 or 3 flexible parts as compared to as many as 14 or more in a standard pump. The pouch also contains up to 85% less plastic, holding the same amount of product as a standard bottle. When the product is emptied - and more than 98% is dispensed - it uses about 95% less space in the landfills than the typical PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle.

Overall:

• Uses less materials to produce, meaning less energy used, requiring less natural resources (petroleum), therefore less harmful toxins in manufacturing process per package
• Lighter for transport = less energy expended
• Size and volume of used pouch occupies up to 95% less space in landfills
• Refillable pouch option (if there is an outer container, it's reused again and again)
• Airless pouch extends shelf-life of product
